How to: Register with the RFL for 2023 Season
All online, new and existing players should sign up as soon as possible.
Rugby league is set to return for the 2023 season. All players must be registered with the RFL to play Rugby League. RFL registration is one of three steps all Rockets should complete:
1. Register with the club website & sign up to membership fees
2. Register with the RFL (link below)
3. Join OurLeague Active, a membership scheme for rugby league players (fees apply) - link to follow
This guide is for stage 2, register with the RFL. RFL Registration takes place online and existing players still need to sign up. If a player is under the age of 18 parental consent is required.

Existing players
Players that were previously registered to the club can re-register using the email address associated with their account. If an email address is not on the system or requires amending the club/player will need to email the RFL for this to be updated on the system prior to the player attempting the re-registration process. Once the email address is on the GameDay system the players will be able to follow the process to re-register to the Club. The guide for how to do this can be found here .
New Players
All new players will be required to register on GameDay using the registration link provided. If a player is under the age of 18 the registration form should be completed by a parent/guardian. A passport style photo and a copy of the child’s ID will be required.
The Club will receive a notification that a player is trying to register to their Club.
The RFL/relevant League Administrator will approve all new player registrations

Transfers
Any player that is either currently, or has been previously registered, with another club, who wishes to transfer to a different Club must contact the Club they are wishing to join who will initiate the transfer. If you are from Whitley Bay Barbarians or another club, please contact us via info@cramlingtonrockets.co.uk.
Registering Volunteers – Coaches, First Aiders and Club Personnel
It will be a requirement in 2023, as in last season, to register coaches and key volunteers. The process is very similar to the one for players.
The volunteers that require registering are:
• Chairperson
• Club Welfare Officer
• Secretary
• Licensed Coach
• First Aider
• Game Day Manager
